WP 2 - Educational and student exchange programme
The workpackage developed the educational and support structures for research students in the field of eParticipation which ensure that they understand the common body of research knowledge and emerging research agendas. It also put in place the organisation and funding mechanisms for research student exchanges which enable cross-fertilization of ideas, cross-disciplinary work, development of connections with regional innovation programmes and development of common problem understandings amongst the coming generation of researchers.
The WP arrangeed PhD student seminars, a students exchange program and served as a resource assisting with arranging students’ field studies in co-operation with WP3.
Objectives:
- To provide an arena for intellectual exchange and practical collaboration among PhD students doing eParticipation-related work, who are currently scattered across different
disciplines. - To create an environment that stimulates and challenges the PhD students to engage in
significant and relevant research issues related to e-government. - To arrange activities that stimulates cross-fertilisation – seminars and conferences, PhD
student exchange and field studies, and an interaction web site.
