This tab allows the owner of an object to share it with other members of the DEMO-net network. The owner can decide which members are allowed to perform what actions on that object.

Current sharing permissions: Here you can see which users are assigned which roles for the current item.

Add sharing permissions to users: If you want to share an item with another member you need to assign them the appropriate role. The most common use is to give people manager rights allowing them full control of the item and its content. Here you will find a search facility enabling you to search for members by way of user name or email address.

Add sharing permissions to groups: Groups are a convenient way of sharing an item with a common set of users. Here you can select one or more groups and the role you want to assign them.

Inherit roles from higher levels: Normally, people who have sharing permission to a folder will also have permission to share content in the lower level folders and documents. If you check this box, you will block people who have local roles in higher level folders from accessing the current item.

Change ownership: To change ownership of the current item you need to follow the link and fill in the form. Select a member from the New Owner dropdown menu and check the box below if you want the member to have ownership of all sub-objects.
