How to create an internal link in a document?

1. Select your document and click the edit tab
2. In the body text put the cursor where you want to insert the link. You can highlight a word or a piece of text and create the link over it. Alternatively, the system will insert the link where the cursor is and name the link the title of the selected item.
3. Click the internal link icon (chain)
4. Browse the DEMO-net website and select the appropriate item
5. Back on the edit page you finish by clicking save

Remember that if an item changes location, all links to that item will be broken.

You can also link to related content on the DEMO-net website by using the related item(s) option:

1. Select your document and click the edit tab
2. Scroll down to related item(s) and click the browse button
3. You can use the search facility or the breadcrumbs to find the item you are looking for
4. Select the appropriate item and click insert
5. Back on the edit page you finish by clicking save

Remember that if you copy a document to a different location, the related item(s) link will have been removed in the pasted document. On the other hand, if you cut and paste a document to a new location, the related item(s) link will remain intact.
