In the VRC you set up everything correct, but you online status wasn't shown in the VRC?

First of all, please check if you entered in your preferences the correct information, this is your Skype userid and the checkbox ("Show my status"), that your online status will be shown in the VRC must be checked.

Next you must be aware that you need to configure your Skype software that it is possible to show online status in a website.

To change this settings go to:

1. Open your Skype software
2. Choose Tools -> Options..., a new window will pop up
3. Privacy -> Privacy Settings
4. If you see the button "Show advanced options", click on it. If not go to 5.
5. At the bottom of the window tick the checkbox "Allow my status to be shown on the web."
6. Save and reload your browser.
