Scandinavian Workshop on eGovernment is the premier forum for researchers and practitioners involved with eGovernment development. The purpose of the workshop is to chart current research going on in Scandinavia and form creative partnerships across countries and disciplines.

The 2007 workshop will be held in Örebro, Sweden. It is the 4th workshop in a series jointly arranged by Örebro University, Copenhagen Business School and Agder University College. It includes presentations from leading Scandinavian practitioners and international researchers on issues currently on top of the agenda, which includes integration and cooperation, information infrastructures, eParticipation, electronic identity, user value, and monitoring and evaluation. On another dimension, ICT for development is an issue not only for developing countries but also in an international cooperation perspective. Finally, the budding field of eGovernment education, also an international issue, is of interest.
