The 2007 DEMO-net PhD tutorial will be held in Örebro, Sweden February 7th 2007. The tutorial is held in conjunction with Scandinavian Workshop in eGovernance (SWEG), 5-6th February. See http://www.electronicgovernment.se/sweg.asp for more information about SWEG’07.
The main purpose of the tutorial is to familiarize PhD students with the field of eParticipation. This is done by tutorials from DEMO-net researchers – Ann Macintosh, Kim Viborg Andersen, Themis Tambouris, Maria Wimmer, Åke Grönlund – and by discussions of students’ research proposals.
PhD students are invited to submit a description of their (tentative) PhD project. Papers will be discussed by other PhD students and senior researchers in the eParticipation field. The primary target group for this “beginners” tutorial is students who have just begun their PhD studies and who have their research interests within eParticipation.
