The EGOV PhD student colloquium 3 - 4 September 2006 in conjunction with EGOV 06 conference in Krakow, Poland. The colloquium will be co-organised with the DEMO-net project and the Alcatel SEL foundation.

Students are invited to submit their PhD project and thesis proposals which will be reviewed and discussed by other PhD students and senior eGov researchers. As a matter of cooperation with DEMO-net, a strong focus is being put to PhD projects in the domain of eParticipation . However, submissions of PhD works to the EGOV PhD colloquium are not limited to this area.

The overall aim of the second EGOV PhD colloquium is to bring PhD students who are scattered across countries and disciplines more together.

Among the PhD students, the senior eGov researchers and EGOV organising committee will award a PhD students prize based on the quality of submitted paper, presentation and the underlying research project.
