Towards the end of the 3rd year of the eParticipation Preparatory Action, the high level conference aims to demonstrate progress and results in view of mainstreaming eParticipation in EU institutions. It is organized by the European Commission in cooperation with the European Parliament and will showcase and discuss current state of play as well as future directions of eParticipation, especially in the context of the new Lisbon Treaty and its principle for participatory democracy.
The conference is scheduled for March 2009 in Brussels, Belgium.
