A full day national workshop on socio-technical infrastructures to foster democratic processes will take place at the annual meeting of the German Society for Informatics October 2006 in Dresden, Germany.
The workshop focuses on practical experiences, concepts and theoretical frameworks to understand and further develop socio-technical tools and infrastructures to achieve communicative transparency of public affairs for, with, and by the citizen through new media. Reports on practical experiences and discussions of concepts from a trans-disciplinary perspective are invited.
