ECPR 2009 Call for panels and discussants
In the next ECPR General Conference to be held in Potsdam in September 2009 there will be a section on “Internet and Politics” which has been allocated six panels.

The dg.o 2009 conference theme “Social Networks: Making Connections between Citizens, Data and Government” focuses on Web 2.0 technology, the emerging Social Web, and social network systems that allow large scale distributed collaboration, information sharing and creation of collective intelligence in government areas.
eGov08: Plenary presentation on "ICT for governance and policy modelling"
The eGov conference 2008 will have a plenary presentation on "ICT for governance and policy modelling" from the European Commission, as well as a workshop discussion at the conference (see the programme). The EP President, Hans-Gert Pöttering, launched EuroparlTV, the Parliament's own webTV channel. Anyone with Internet access will be able to watch a regularly changing set of programmes based around the life of the Parliament. The aim of EuroparlTV is to bring Parliament closer to European citizens in a modern and creative format.
