Final conference of the VoiceS project: “eEngagement - How the Internet changes European Political Dialogue”

At the conference, the results of the VoiceS project will be presented and the chances and challenges of eParticipation be debated by distinguished experts.

 

The final conference of the VoiceS project: “eEngagement - How the Internet changes European Political Dialogue”will take place on November 17, 2010 from 09:00 to 13:30h in the Committee of the Regions in Brussels. At the conference the results of the VoiceS project will be presented and the chances and challenges of eParticipation be debated by distinguished experts.

 

Programme highlights include:

  • Welcome note: Dr. Nicola Schelling, Director of the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the European Union
  • Keynote: “eParticipation : A new Channel of political Communication? Status Quo, Potentials and Risks" by Prof. Maria Wimmer, University of Koblenz-Landau
  • Panel: “Politics2.0 – The Internet as new Means for political Engagement?”
