Generation of a TOP 20 list of citizen proposals for a 30 Million Euro budget, answered by political decision makers.
Description:
Since 2005 Berlin-Lichtenberg sets up a participatory budget each year. The consultation uses three columns: Internet, townhall-meetings, and surveys. The Internt-plattform has become the lead-media for the whole process, providing information, collecting and archiving als proposals, discussion, counting votes, and building a community.
