Project GIS (Digital Bornhoml)

Overall aim of the eGovernment initiative (with respect to citizens): • Establish the Internet as an easy and convenient medium for services towards citizens and oirganizations. • Increase citizens’ knowledge of municipal institutions and decision processes, and their ability to participate in public debate and democracy. • Publicize the region as an attractive place to live and run a business. Aim of the Project GIS: • Short term: 24 hour GIS information service • Long term: Electronic case handling in building and zoning

Part of project cluster with 1.6 mio € (DKK 11.9 mio) budget. Budgets for individual projects in the cluster are not available. A project in the eGovernment (Digital Forvaltning) cluster under the Digital Bornholm” initiative.. Part of the eGovernment project cluster addressed information and service provision for citizens. The Project GIS establishes a regional self servise GIS for citizens and companies to be used – among others – in the handling of building and zoning applications.
