Project Bornholm.dk (Digital Bornhoml)

Overall aim of the eGovernment initiative (with respect to ctizens): • Establish the Internet as an easy and convenient medium for services towards citizens and oirganizations. • Increase citizens’ knowledge of municipal institutions and decision processes, and their ability to participate in public debate and democracy. • Publicize the region as an attractive place to live and run a business. Aim of the Project Bornholm.dk: • Provide a unified and attractive portal for information in the region. • Strengthen the local community by providing information about local events and activities, as well as a debate section.
