Project E Democracy (Digital Bornhoml)

Overall aim of the eGovernment initiative (with respect to ctizens):
• Establish the Internet as an easy and convenient medium for services towards citizens and oirganizations.
• Increase citizens’ knowledge of municipal institutions and decision processes, and their ability to participate in public debate and democracy.
• Publicize the region as an attractive place to live and run a business. Aim of the Project eDemocracy:
• Support democratic processes during the restructuring of local government (the merger of a number of municipalities into one regional government structure).
