Description:
eParticipate is an 18 month eTEN Market Validation Project which is developing a sustainable Deployment Plan and convincing Market Validation of the open Trans-European eParticipate network platform that has already been proven in the UK. Started in March 2005, eParticipate provides an open integrated standard web-based network and gateway of existing-technology - "best of breed" components and applications (called Public-i) to enable public bodies to broaden and encourage the participation of citizens in the democratic process.
